TiME UK, whose membership hovers around a thousand educators and specialists, is rolling out a suite of prominent music‑technology brands—such as Ableton, Yamaha, Sontronics, Woojer, Digit Music, Robkoo, Soundbeam and Arcana Instruments—into the British education landscape.
After initial discussions at the NAMM Show, the organization disclosed a new collaboration with Technology in Music Education (TI:ME USA). The partnership creates a transatlantic hub for exchanging best practices in music technology, inclusion, digital tools and adaptive instruments. Executive Director Kate Rounding emphasized that music‑tech firms need dependable channels to reach classrooms, noting that placing products before teachers, music services, SEND professionals and young learners has yielded strong results while feeding real‑world classroom feedback back to manufacturers.
TI:ME USA, operating since 1995, actively supports educators in weaving technology into their music curricula. Rounding added that the alliance fortifies the link between industry, schools and emerging creators across both the UK and the US, a timely move given the growing demand for additional educational support among young people in both countries.
